History of Lavinia Borcau Skin Care Spa in Boston

Lavinia Borcau, the President and Founder of LaVie Organique, is an internationally recognized skincare expert who has over twenty years of experience as an aesthetician, spa owner, and product developer. She is also the creator of the From MY Neck UP™ face and neck exercise program, the author of the book “Timeless Woman” and the LaVie Organique Skincare Blog.

Ms. Borcau laid the groundwork for her career as a skincare professional and entrepreneur in her native city of Bucharest, Romania, where she graduated from the Academy of Economic Study and the Aesthetic School. Soon after moving to the United States in 1990, she earned a CIDESCO International Diploma, the highest earned professional skin care title in the world. Her training as a wellness advisor also includes certification as a health coach by the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. In addition, she has training in Psychoanalysis through the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis.

Since opening in 1993, Lavinia Borcau Skincare, Inc. has established a reputation as a premier day spa. In addition to winning recognition for excellence in business, the spa has received Best of Boston awards from Boston magazine and the Improper Bostonian. Ms. Borcau has also been featured on WBZ-TV Channel 4 News, on Chronicle on WCVB Channel 5, and in the Boston Globe.
